How to set up Asterisk and Zoiper to send faxes to another Zoiper?
Sending faxes from Zoiper to another Zoiper is extremely easy.
In this tutorial I will:

Accounts
Creating the first account
And now - the second account:
It is time to edit the extensions.conf file.
NOTE: Please do not forget to reload the sip and the dialplan configurations to enable the last changes!
Please use the "dialplan reload" and "sip reload" commands in the Asterisk CLI console.
Configuring the Zoipers to use the newly created accounts
NOTE: If you enable the "Show Advanced Options" checkbox, you will be able to set up the "Auth. username" and other settings.
There is almost no difference between the Windows and Linux versions of Zoiper.
By pressing the "OK" and then "Register" buttons, the newly created accounts will be saved and registered to our Asterisk server.
Now we have:
* a Zoiper Biz 2.18 registered to the Asterisk server with a SIP account ONE;
* a Zoiper Biz 2.08 registered to the Asterisk server with a SIP account TWO;
Using Zoiper Biz for Windows to send a text document as a fax message to another Zoiper by using the Zoiper printer driver.
Open the text document and go to the printing wizard.
I am using Microsoft WordPad.
Its printing wizard may be accessed by pressing the "Print" icon or by using the "File" menu.
The next step is to select the "Zoiper Print to Fax" device and press "Print".
There is a new screen:
Here is the field where the recipient's number to be entered.
The fax will be sent by pressing the "Send" button.
The other Zoiper is ringing.
It could not tell if this is a voice call or an incoming fax before the call is answered.
After the fax is received by using Zoiper Biz for Linux it is saved in the ~/user directory.
If you do not want to store the incoming faxes directly in your home directory, you could change this by using the "Options" screen.
"Destination folder" - a directory where the incoming faxes to be stored may be entered here.
"Automatically Display" - If this checkbox is marked, every incoming fax will be opened automatically.
Sending faxes by using Zoiper Biz for Linux
When using Linux, MAX OS X or Windows 64bit the file has to be converted to a TIFF file.
This is the only way to send something as a FAX message by using Zoiper.
There are many tools for converting one type to another.
Guidelines for the TIFF file:
NOTE: 200 dpi R6 is A4 and Letter combined, so either A4 or Letter is fine.
NOTE: Standalone JPEG files are not supported.
Sending a TIFF file by using Zoiper
My Zoiper is running and the SIP account is registered.
The "Send Fax" button is activated when the recipient's number is entered in the dialing field.
After the other side answers the call, they see:
And on the sender's side the state reads "Outgoing fax":
If a default destination is not selected, the newly received fax will be stored in the user's Application Data -> ZoiperBiz folder.

Windows 32bit :
Linux, MAC OS X and Windows 64bit:
* set up these two SIP accounts on two different computers - one of them using Windows, and the other - Linux;

Depending on what is your operational system, using Zoiper's faxing capabilities is different.
The Zoiper Print to Fax driver works on Windows 2000, Windows XP 32 bit and Windows Vista 32bit.
Windows 32bit :
When you install your Zoiper, the Zoiper Printer driver is being also installed automatically.
Linux, MAC OS X and Windows 64bit:
In Windows 64bitq MAC OS X and Linux you have to convert the file to a TIFF file, then you will be able to send it as a fax message by using Zoiper.

As the T.38 fax feature of Zoiper is available only for SIP, I will create two SIP accounts.
The names of my accounts will be ONE and TWO.
I am accessing my Asterisk server via ssh.
Use this, or any other way suitable to your needs.

I just copied the first account and changed the name.
It is time to edit the extensions.conf file.

Colour pages are automatically desaturated by luminance, then dithered using Floyd-Steinberg to 1 bit per pixel.
This has good effect and detail retaining for photos and pictures.
If a page is not in the 195-205 dpi resolution range it will be scaled automatically using Lanczos Sinc resampling to 200 dpi while retaining aspect.
If the page size does not match R6, it will be cut where it is longer and white will be added where it is shorter.
No scaling is used here.
Most of the TIFF image compressions are supported including JPEG-in-TIFF.
