DIAX softphone

3.1.9. DIAX softphone

DIAX is softphone client program which can be downloaded from http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-DIAX .

To register a user you have to go to Config/Registration menu. Fill the Server field with the IP address af your asterisk server. In the Username field type the user name and i password field you have to set the password which is setted for this user in iax.conf or sip.conf on the asterisk server

For information how to make the configurations in the Asterisk's configuration files please read our tutorial about the Configuring IP Phones for use with Asterisk

Then you can dial for example a SIP user to the Idefisk 2.0

And you see what would happen on the CLI

After all you the best opition is that you can check all calls – duration, destination etc. from Calls/All

Can you help me out, i can't use the Diax due to a Run-time error'-:2147221231(80040111)': automation error. Class factory cannot supply requested class. ? the file
15a version was downloaded and i am using XP home edition operating system.
I also tryed 10f and 10g older versions which also returned the Run-time error.
Please e-mail reply with some help hopefully, thanks and regards Brian.
