We are exploring the SendURL function in Asterisk 1.2.9 and we are experiencing it via Idefisk. 1.37BIZ

Making our attempts we saw that anytime we make calls that use SendURL ( exten =>111,1,SendURL(www.asteriskguru.com) ) a new window is open in the browser ( Firefox 1.5.0.7 ).

Our company is going to present Idefisk to our customers an we think that customers probably do not appreciate their screen full of new browser windows. The best thing would be that Idefisk would use always the same window for that goal.

Please could Idefisk programmers provide us the source code of this part of Idefisk that commands browser to open desired URL? We would like to find new handlings for this matters an provide a technical feedback.

We tried also the SendURL "wait" option in Asterisk configuration, but something doesn't seems to work, Asterisk stays waiting and remote phone doesn't ring, probably Idefisk should send a "Load Complete" HTML IAX frame or something similar.

Has idefisk tested with firefox browser?

Hello,

the function used to open the URL is ShellExecute. It cannot open the same window in the browser but works with any browser that is set as default browser.
