can't receive the email of voice mail

Posted: Thu Mar 23, 2006 9:38 am Post subject: can't receive the email of voice mail

I successfully installed asterisk, everything is fine. But when i leave a message to an extension, i only can retrieve it by using a phone. there's no email been sent to the email account i have setup in voice mail settings. Does any one have any idea about this? thanks in advanced.
