I have the same problem installed zend no problems. php.ini has zend options at the end. Anyone ever figure out the problem on this?

I am looking for a basic introduction to Asterisk setup and administration. My goals are to learn installation assuming the hardware is in place, creation and set up of extensions and users, basic IVR functions(Auto Attendent, routing) ACD functions like Agent log in/log out and availability commands.

I have experience with Avaya and Interactive Intelligence and am fairly efficient with both.

Any direction would be appreciated.

Hi guys,

Ive toiled all day to get this thing running and one (amongst the millions encountered) was the one you mentioned abt the zend optimiser.

The solution to my problem was that in the php.ini file there is a line as follows:

zend_optimizer.enable_loader = 0

For some reason it is set to 0 you need to change it to 1 and restart the server and then try. It worked for me. Let me know if it solves your problem.

Make sure you edit the correct copy of the php.ini file. Sometimes you might have copies in 2-3 different locations e.g. in windows directory and php directory (depending on how you installed everything).
