I'm having trouble finding a reliable and/or useable router to run asterisk behind with IAX2. With the netgear 614 and 624 I get hard locks in under 10 minutes. With my WRT, the external traffic never reaches the * box. I can see the packets getting dropped in the router log, but can't find the rule doing it, let alone fix it. Turning off the router's firewall just stops the logging, without passing the packets. If I forward 4569 straight to the * box, I can't register or pass calls, and my debug is full of challenges and INVAL.
Doesn't seem to matter who's firmware I use (dd-wrt, tomato, stock, etc) it just don't work.
I've never found a situation where the WRT failled me before. I'm at a loss as to what to put in it's place or how to fix it? Any suggestions?
Just ask for whatever logs/debugs you would like to review. I;ve gone through so many at this point that I don't know what is relevant anymore.
Thanks for any help.
