Hi guys:
I'm new to the group and to Asterisk. Usually do Java development on
enterprise systems, but I have my own little project which involves SIP. I
already set up the latest build of Asterisk (1.2 - didn't see 1.4 anywhere)
on my Linux box. I think it's working since I am able to start it and I have
configured two phones (still trying to connect my Grandstream to it - might
be the firewall).
Now, what I'm trying to accomplish is to take a video clip on my server and
call my phone with it. Can something like that be done? The process on the
server should simply loop through the video as long as the callee (my phone)
is connected. Alternatively I might also want the phone call the server and
get the same video loop.
Although I'm fairly tech savvy (software developer for over a decade) this
whole SIP/Asterisk thing is really new to me. If one of you guys could send
me along the right path I'd really appreciate it. That of course assumes
that Asterisk even supports video at this point - I'm not afraid of being on
the cutting edge ;-)
