Hello.
For the last year, myself (LES.NET) and Norm @ VoiceNetwork have been
freely exchanging information regarding fraudulent transactions and voip
activity.
Information such as Names, Addresses, IP Addresses, Charge Backs (credit
card, paypal), etc.
This sharing of information has resulted in real dollar savings for our
two companies by identifying fraudsters, before and after they hit hard.
Today we discussed expanding this semi-informal sharing network to include
other voip service providers.
If you are a voip service provider, and experience fraud on a daily,
weekly, or monthly basis, you are invited to join.
This invitation is open only to service providers, not end-users.
Potential Service Providers must be able to prove their business is real.
ie: Article of Incorporation, Real Website, etc.
Any providers interested in participating, can email sales@les.net
(Include your name, and telephone contact info)
Thanks,
Les

Hi Les,
Actually, there used to be a website called www.voipbadguys.com, which
kind'a became inactive
over time. However, I like your initiative. Although I'm not a carrier,
I am a consultant in Israel providing
consultancy services to a multitude of customer, worldwide, who consume
termination services.
Making this kind of resources available to a select group of people,
through a well managed community
can be very fruitful. I'm more than willing to provide the online
premises for this, with a wiki or whatever
required (which will not require fund raising).
Cheers,
Nir S
