Just wanted to let you guys know that I have finished up Appendix 3. I
am going to go through the code (what? is this documentation?) and add
some <command></command> tags so that the commands that you type are a
bit more defined, but other than that, I'd say it's done.
# cd /usr/src/asterisk
# cvs update
Updated all of the asterisk module, including the doc subdirectory OK but
nothing there looks remotely like what is being discussed on this list.

Hi,
Can someone give me specific instructions on pulling the doc module from CVS?
I've done:
# export CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs@cvs.digium.com:/usr/cvsroot
# cvs login
answered password prompt with anoncvs OK
Well the first problem is that the document is not kept on Digiums CVS
server. :)
http://asterisk.sohoskyway.net/Asterisk_Doc/ will have the latest
DocBook and compiled PDF for you (every 30 minutes from the sourceforge
CVS server, which is where the docs are stored)

We're using SourceForge's CVS server, not Digiums. Instructions can be
found at http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=80395. (The module you
are interested in is called "docs".)
Unfortunately, SourceForge's CVS server is being very slow lately, so
it's usually quicker to get the latest files (and PDF or
HTMLway.net/Asterisk_Doc/ versions) from Greg Varga's website at
http://asterisk.sohoskyway.net/Asterisk_Doc/.
