What kind of problem does this fix? Could it also be usefully applied
to earlier versions of Dahdi and Zaptel?
If you had two cards handled by the wct4xxp driver in a system, and one
was providing timing to the other via a timing cable, there were some
conditions that could cause the slave card to loose timing sync prior to
this patch.
And yes...this could be applied to earlier versions (although to my
knowledge, there will never be another release of Zaptel...at best it
would just need to sit in trunk).
